Salary: up to 25,000

Tailor Made are delighted to be working exclusively with a leading manufacturing company in their search for a Junior Account Manager. Established for over thirty years and with a workforce of over 200, this hand on, exciting position offers genuine progression opportunities and a chance to be part of an exciting, thriving business.

The successful candidate will ideally come from an administrative background, and they will be responsible for managing up to 20 UK and International accounts, worth in excess of 2m in spend. You will also work closely with the Planning, Projects and Accounts teams as well as the Senior Management Team.

Roles and responsibilities;

  • Overseeing the production process making sure deadlines are met
  • Working closely with customers, production and quality to maintain lead times and delivery dates
  • Ensuring production is cost effective i.e., to cycle times and full yield of mould cavities
  • Monitoring of production processes and its material usage / regrind and ensuring end of run no regrind left over
  • Overseeing development and manufacture of new tooling in terms of on time production dates and updating weekly project plan
  • Weekly meetings with the setting team to monitor progression of order and projects
  • Support on customer complaints and implementation of corrective actions.
  • Maintain updates on monthly accounts and KPI updates
  • Maintain awareness of relevant improvements of manufacturing processes, and operating a continual improvement policy.
  • Work to the specific standards set out within the ISO system as and when implemented
  • Visiting customers with the Sales Manager
  • Involvement on planning/ and interaction with the main office
  • Follow up sales leads / quotes
  • Late deliveries must be brought to the attention of the Sales Manager/Directors and then communicated to the customer in good time
  • Sourcing of new customers and maintaining current customers

The ideal candidate will;

  • Have experience within customer focused/administrative
  • Come from a manufacturing background ideal but not essential
  • Be customer focused, organised and trustworthy
  • Have the ability to prioritise and to manage deadlines
  • Be a fantastic team player
  • Be a proactive self-starter with a desire to succeed
