Description:

SC1 Recruitment are excited to be working with a leading UK supplier of bespoke manufactured products in Newcastle and surrounding areas.

The Sales Surveyor will travel to pre-booked appointments, promoting the product to the customer, closing the sale and handover to the installations team.

Covering Newcastle and surrounding areas, the role will be field based with a company vehicle, mobile, tablet and fuel card. Travel to the Newcastle branch will be required.

Role and Responsibilities:

  • All leads will be pre-booked appointments whereby you will be the main point of contact to survey customers properties/sites, offering advice and suggestions based on your findings of the survey
  • Attending 7/8 customer visits per day, understanding the needs and requirements, guiding them through the selection process and completing the sale
  • Actively contributing to boosting branch sales through customer engagement
  • Identifying additional sales leads and opportunities
  • Cultivating strong relationships with both customers and colleagues

Skills and Experience:

  • Relevant sales experience, ideally in a B2C role
  • Experience of working in window/door fitting, aluminium doors, bi-folding is desirable
  • Excellent communication skills verbal and written
  • Good level of Maths is essential
  • IT/Tech savvy - Microsoft and CRM systems
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Full UK driving licence is essential

Hours of work: Monday to Friday, 3 days 8am to 5pm, 2 days 11am to 7pm. 1 in 4 Saturdays 9am 2pm on a rota basis
