40,000 - 50,000 per annum, with OTE Year 1 15-20,000 per annum, OTE Year 2 30-40,000 per annum

Full Time, Permanent (9:00 am - 5:30 pm)

We are looking for a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our clients bespoke IT company. The ideal candidate will have a strong sales background in a B2B environment, demonstrating a proven track record of consistently exceeding targets and winning new business. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, establishing and maintaining successful client relationships and driving revenue growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify and develop new opportunities within existing clients as well as new business prospects.
  • Utilise innovative techniques to progress leads, exploring beyond the tried and tested methods.
  • Facilitate the proposal of products or solutions by focusing on client requirements, occasionally offering an alternative solution.
  • Understand the target markets, including industry, company, project, company contacts and applicable market strategies to attract clients.
  • Collaborate with technical and client service teams to ensure that requirements are met.
  • Be available for Client Services in the event of account escalation.
  • Work to achieve your targets as outlined in your individual commission plan and personal development plan.
  • Develop your own knowledge in Oracle/SQL Server/Cloud.

Requirements:

  • Proven track record of success in a B2B sales environment is ESSENTIAL.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills.
  • Highly motivated, with a genuine passion for sales and exceeding targets.
  • Track record of generating new business and achieving revenue growth in the B2B sector.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners and stakeholders.
