As the Sales Manager you will be responsible for creating and delivering a sales strategy for your department. You will play a fundamental role in developing future growth and providing vision, direction and leadership to your team.
You will be responsible for carrying out the market appraisals and generating new business opportunities by way of instructions, whilst managing both your individual and the team's performance against the departments targeted key performance indicators.
The aim of your role is to maximise income whilst minimising costs. You will need to ensure all promotional literature is accurate and to the companies standard and the processes of the department are followed by your team. You will need to ensure that your team are fully versed on targets for the day/ week/ month while creating a competitive environment.
You will be required to build and maintain relationships with buyers and vendors with an emphasis on client care and sales through consultation. My client has built a business through referrals and recommendations, so it is paramount that the client would want to do business with us again in the future, so you are our brand ambassador.
