As the Sales Manager you will be responsible for creating and delivering a sales strategy for your department. You will play a fundamental role in developing future growth and providing vision, direction and leadership to your team.

You will be responsible for carrying out the market appraisals and generating new business opportunities by way of instructions, whilst managing both your individual and the team's performance against the departments targeted key performance indicators.

The aim of your role is to maximise income whilst minimising costs. You will need to ensure all promotional literature is accurate and to the companies standard and the processes of the department are followed by your team. You will need to ensure that your team are fully versed on targets for the day/ week/ month while creating a competitive environment.

You will be required to build and maintain relationships with buyers and vendors with an emphasis on client care and sales through consultation. My client has built a business through referrals and recommendations, so it is paramount that the client would want to do business with us again in the future, so you are our brand ambassador. These relationships are built on trust, transparency and absolute integrity.

Typical Responsibilities
  • Developing strategy, tactics, sales plans and output targets
  • Sourcing new business through developing relationships with property investors, and other relevant stakeholders, whilst listing new stock through contacting prospective property owners
  • Ensuring your team and personal income and output targets are met
  • Recruitment, development and training of a sales team to nurture department, growth and targets
  • Identifying and reporting on business opportunities in target markets
  • Acting as an ambassador and role model for your business
  • Taking responsibility for profit and loss where required
  • Increasing market share in existing markets and maximising new business development opportunities
  • Achieving targets for revenue, profitability, and sales growth
  • Provide direction for your department
  • Calling and meeting with property owners
  • Conducting property valuations and maintaining high fees
  • Producing valuation reports backed up by evidential comparable 's
  • Responding to client communications in a professional and timely manner
  • Attending meetings with other individuals involved in the selling/ letting process
  • Negotiating offers between parties
  • Maintaining standards according to company policy and the Ombudsman code
  • Liaising with administration teams
  • Assisting the efficient progression to sales to a successful conclusion within the department
  • Reaching Targets and company KPI'S
  • Ensuring client feedback and high standards of care are adhered to at all times
  • Ensuring administrative records are kept up to date at all times
  • Ensuring current legislation and guidelines are met at all times
  • Assisting in the collation of key performance statistics to head office and attending regular managers' meetings
