Description:

As a Private Medical Insurance Sales Executive, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of our business by identifying and acquiring new clients while maintaining strong relationships with existing ones. Based in Southampton, you will be part of a dynamic sales team dedicated to providing tailored healthcare solutions to meet the diverse needs of our clients.

Responsibilities:

  1. Customer Engagement:
    • Conduct thorough research to understand the needs and challenges of prospective clients, tailoring sales pitches accordingly.
  2. Consultative Selling:

    • Conduct detailed consultations with clients to assess their healthcare requirements and recommend suitable insurance solutions.
    • Provide expert guidance on policy features, benefits, and coverage options, ensuring clarity and transparency throughout the sales process.
  3. Relationship Management:

    • Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with clients by delivering exceptional customer service and ongoing support.
    • Act as a trusted advisor, addressing client inquiries, resolving issues, and proactively identifying opportunities to enhance their insurance coverage.
  4. Sales Pipeline Management:

    • Manage and prioritize a pipeline of sales opportunities, tracking progress and ensuring timely follow-ups to advance deals through the sales cycle.
    • Utilize CRM systems and sales tools effectively to maintain accurate records and maximize efficiency in sales activities.
  5. Performance Metrics:

    • Meet and exceed individual sales targets, consistently driving revenue growth and contributing to the overall success of the sales team.
    • Continuously evaluate and improve sales techniques, leveraging feedback and training resources to enhance effectiveness.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients.
  • Excellent negotiation and persuasion abilities, with a focus on delivering value-added solutions.
  • Results-driven mindset, with a track record of achieving and surpassing sales targets.
  • Knowledge of private medical insurance products and industry regulations is advantageous.
  • Self-motivated and resilient, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
  • Relevant qualifications such as CeMAP (Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice) or CII (Chartered Insurance Institute) certifications are desirable.
