Our Further Education division is expanding, and we re looking for a driven Recruitment Consultant to join our experienced team as we look to grow and develop our business further.

As a Recruitment Consultant in our Further Education division, you will be responsible for sourcing, placing, and managing candidates across colleges, sixth forms, and training providers. You ll build new and strong relationships with clients and candidates, ensuring a seamless recruitment experience that supports the delivery of high-quality education.

Key Responsibilities

Business Development (BD)

  • Identify potential clients and generate new business opportunities.
  • Pitch recruitment and staffing services to prospective clients.
  • Build and maintain long-term client relationships.
  • Understand client requirements and propose suitable hiring solutions.
  • Achieve monthly/quarterly sales and revenue targets.
  • Maintain proper records of client interactions and sales pipelines.

Recruitment

  • Work closely with clients to understand job descriptions and hiring needs.
  • Source candidates through job portals, LinkedIn, referrals, and internal databases.
  • Screen, evaluate, and shortlist candidates.
  • Coordinate interviews between clients and candidates.
  • Manage candidate follow-ups, salary negotiations, and offer closures.
  • Ensure timely delivery of profiles and high-quality recruitment service.

Client & Candidate Management

  • Act as a point of contact between client and candidate.
  • Maintain strong communication throughout the hiring cycle.
  • Resolve concerns to ensure a smooth recruitment process.

Person Specification

  • Proven experience in recruitment (education sector not essential)
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • Target-driven with a proactive and resilient attitude
  • Ability to manage multiple vacancies and priorities effectively
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and compliance in education recruitment is desirable
