Description:

We are looking for an ambitious and results-driven Senior Sales Manager to lead our Eastern region sales team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced sales leader to manage a team of Territory Managers, drive sales to independent carpet retailers and contractors, and contribute to overall business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of Territory Managers to achieve and exceed sales targets.

  • Implement regional sales strategies in collaboration with the Sales Director and Senior Regional Managers.

  • Build strong relationships with clients and key stakeholders across multiple levels.

  • Identify new business opportunities, reactivate dormant accounts, and maximise territory growth.

  • Deliver coaching, training, and support to drive team performance and professional development.

  • Ensure accurate CRM records and reporting on sales activity and pipeline.

  • Organize and support client engagement initiatives, including Lunch & Learn sessions and CPDs.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven track record in managing high-performing sales teams.

  • Strong commercial awareness with strategic thinking and planning skills.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and deliver results.

  • Experience in the carpet, flooring, or related industry is advantageous but not essential.

  • Ideally based in East Anglia, North London, East Midlands, or nearby.
