Senior IT Applications Manager (Salesforce Product Owner) - up to 75,000 per annum base + benefits (car allowance, bonus, Private Medical Insurance etc.) - Leatherhead, Surrey - hybrid

We are recruiting a Senior IT Applications Manager on behalf of one of our clients based in Leatherhead. The successful candidate will be responsible for aligning the organisation's Customer Focus systems (Salesforce, Hubspot, and the Intranet) with broader business goals. It provides strategic and technical guidance to ensure these platforms support operational needs, drive efficiency, and maintain architectural stability across the organisation.

The role requires deep technical expertise in Salesforce and Hubspot - It involves advising on system integration, shaping solution design standards, and translating complex business requirements into scalable, sustainable solutions across platforms.

A key focus is identifying opportunities for automation, improved data management, and enhanced customer engagement. The role encourages a forward-looking approach to platform development-supporting continuous improvement and ensuring solutions are robust, flexible, and future-ready.

Key responsibilities:

• Work with the business to understand their Salesforce requirements, developing a strategic and logical roadmap for the short, medium and long term
• User and business wide adoption of Salesforce - understand the gaps and training required to aid that adoption and a plan on how to implement
• Work with the Group IT team to establish the architectural design and governance of the Salesforce platform
• Advise and support on the end-to-end architecture of the Salesforce ecosystem
• Define and maintain architectural standards and design principles in line with the Group Architecture team
• Translate business requirements into well-architected Salesforce solutions
• Serve as the technical authority for Salesforce-related decisions
• Coach and mentor internal Salesforce team members
• Support and influence the strategic roadmap for Salesforce
• Oversee solution integrity across integrated systems
• Collaborate with development, admin, and support teams
• Review and validate solution designs from 3rd parties
• Advise on the platform being compliant with security, data protection, and regulatory standards
• Be part of continuous improvement across the Salesforce environment
• Champion Salesforce usage and adoption
• Engage with senior stakeholders and leadership
• Monitor and assess platform health and performance
• Business Partner to BU Salesforce Leads, Marketing and Comms

Key skills and experience:

• Expert knowledge in Salesforce as a platform and product.
• Knowledge and experience in a senior management position of general business principles including strategy, operations, tracking, etc., as well as a high-level understanding of business processes, stakeholder engagement, and communications.
• Working knowledge and experience of end-to-end processes and capabilities.
• Working knowledge of Agile processes and concepts

Desirable skills and experience:

• Experience with HubSpot as a CRM and marketing automation platform, including its role in supporting business development, marketing, and customer engagement.
• Understanding of how HubSpot integrates with other enterprise systems and contributes to strategic reporting and analytics.
• Working knowledge of intranet platforms, including their use in internal communications, content management, and employee engagement.
• Ability to support intranet governance, structure, and integration with tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce, and document repositories.
