Description:

A well-established global precision engineering manufacturer with over 150 years of engineering excellence is seeking a driven Senior Sales Representative to manage the French and Euro market for the Semiconductor manufacturing sector.

You will report into the Global Sales Manager and be the technical interface between customers and the company s engineering, manufacturing, and project management depts so a good technical / engineering background is required.

This role focuses on selling technical solutions, and sealing systems used in semiconductor manufacturing. You ll combine territory management with new business development, building strong relationships with engineers, project managers, and decision-makers. This is solution-led selling, not product pushing.

Location:

  • Remote working, but based around Auvergne Rhône-Alpes region but be advantageous, but it is not essential.

Responsibilities:

  • Identify new customers and sales opportunities to maintain and build on sales revenue.
  • Research customer specifications and requirements against company products.
  • Create, monitor and update lead generation plans to generate potential sales pipeline.
  • Liaise between customer and company in for specifications, drawings, production schedules, quality control demands and packaging requirements etc.
  • Compile reports on customer contacts, sales opportunities and activities within assigned accounts. Keep CRM (Salesforce) system fully up to date.

Required experience / qualifications:

  • Extensive sales management experience in B2B consultative technical sales.
  • Technical education background (HND or Degree level in engineering preferred).
  • Ability to understand technical product applications and represent them positively.
  • Proven track record of translating market trends into sales forecasts.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Willingness to travel 50% of the time (France & Germany mainly).
  • Must be able to speak French.
