Internal Sales Executive (Industrial Door & Loading Bay) The Company A well-established trade-only parts supplier within the industrial door and loading bay sector is looking to hire an Internal Sales Executive for its Yorkshire office. The Role You'll support a trade-only customer base (installers, engineers and service/installation companies), handling enquiries, identifying the correct parts, preparing quotations, and converting orders. This is a fast-paced internal role where accuracy, responsiveness and product/problem-solving are key. Key Responsibilities - Manage inbound and outbound calls/emails from trade customers
- Identify the correct industrial door/loading bay parts and recommend suitable alternatives where required
- Produce accurate quotations, follow up proactively, and convert quotes into orders
- Process sales orders efficiently, ensuring correct pricing, part references and delivery requirements
- Liaise with purchasing, warehouse and logistics to confirm availability, lead times and dispatch
- Resolve order queries, delivery issues and returns in a solutions-focused manner
- Maintain accurate CRM/ERP records and keep customer details up to date
- Support customer retention and account development through consistent service and follow-up
What We're Looking For - Experience in internal sales, trade counter/parts, or B2B customer service
- Confident communicator with a strong telephone manner
- High attention to detail, comfortable working with part references/specifications
- Organised, proactive and able to manage a busy workload
- Good IT skills (CRM/ERP and Microsoft Office)
Desirable (Not Essential) - Knowledge of industrial doors and loading bay equipment/parts (e.g., roller shutters, sectional doors, fast action doors, dock levellers, control panels, safety edges, seals, motors)
- Experience supporting field engineers or trade customers in a parts environment
What's On Offer - 35,000 salary + bonus
- Stable hours: Mon-Fri, 08:30-17:00
- Office-based role in Huddersfield
