We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Key Account Manager to manage and grow a portfolio of strategic accounts within the logistics sector. This role focuses on revenue growth, account development, and new business acquisition while ensuring exceptional service delivery and operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Achieve and exceed revenue and profit targets across nominated accounts
Develop and deliver strategic Account Plans to drive sustainable growth
Identify and secure new business opportunities
Manage customer contracts, SLAs, and KPIs to ensure service excellence
Act as the main point of contact for key customers, building strong, long-term relationships
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery
Identify cross-selling opportunities and promote the full range of company solutions
Monitor market trends and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities
Maintain accurate CRM records and produce regular performance reports
About You
Minimum 5 years experience in Air Freight within the logistics industry
Specialist knowledge of Airfreight Dangerous Goods (Air & Road)
Proven track record of achieving revenue and profit targets
Strong new business development and account growth experience
Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
Commercially astute with experience managing budgets, contracts, and KPIs
Proactive, self-motivated, and results-driven
Full clean driving licence
Working Hours
Monday to Friday, 8:30am 5:30pm (with flexibility as required).
UK and occasional international travel may be required.
