Our client is a specialist supplier of equipment used across construction, facilities management and industrial sectors, and they are now looking to recruit a Sales Manager to join their Banbury based team. This is a permanent, on-site role where you will be responsible for developing new customer relationships, managing sales opportunities and supporting the wider sales team in progressing deals through to completion.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Building and developing your own portfolio of customer accounts.
  • Managing opportunities from enquiry through to close.
  • Preparing quotations and following up opportunities to progress sales.
  • Working with the external sales team to organise and support customer demonstrations.
  • Maintaining regular communication with customers to build strong relationships.
  • Prospecting for new opportunities through outbound activity and existing databases.
  • Maintaining accurate records of activity within the CRM system.

Key Skills & Experience:
  • Experience within a sales, account management or business development role.
  • Strong relationship building and communication skills.
  • Commercially minded with a proactive approach to identifying opportunities.
  • Organised with good attention to detail when managing quotes and customer information.
  • Comfortable managing the full sales process and speaking with customers regularly.
  • Experience within construction, engineering or equipment sales would be beneficial but not essential.

Additional Information:
  • Monday to Friday, 07 30.
  • £35,000 £60,000 basic salary depending on experience.
  • Performance-based bonus.
  • £450 per month car allowance following successful completion of probation.
  • Pension contributions.
