£27k - £35k DOE + Commission Remote (UK) with Travel

We're supporting a growing marine insurance specialist expanding across the UK and Europe. They're looking for a confident, driven Business Development Executive to build broker relationships and grow their market presence.

You do not need to come from a marine background.

However, an interest or personal connection to the marine world such as sailing, boating, water sports, or simply enthusiasm for the sector would be an advantage.

Strong BDE's from other insurance lines are also strongly encouraged to apply!

The Role:

• Meet brokers across the UK to develop new and existing relationships
• Promote marine insurance solutions and identify growth opportunities
• Hold regular in-person and virtual meetings to drive engagement
• Work closely with an experienced internal team so you can focus on business generation

About You:

• Experienced in business development - insurance or similar commercial environment
• Confident communicator with strong relationship-building skills
• Organised, proactive, and comfortable working remotely
• Good IT skills (Teams, Excel, Word)
• Marine experience not essential - an interest in the marine world (e.g., sailing, boating) is a bonus

Key Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain strong broker relationships
• Promote the company's marine facilities
• Identify and support brokers with growth opportunities
• Maintain consistent touchpoints to drive retention
