Role Overview
The Technical Account Manager (TAM) is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of infrastructure services within a secure, high-profile client environment. Based on-site in Hampshire, the role involves close collaboration with defence and public sector customers.
This position requires a strong technical leader with proven delivery management experience, capable of acting as a trusted client advisor while ensuring operational excellence across complex service environments.
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement
Build and maintain trusted advisor relationships with senior client stakeholders
Translate client strategic objectives into effective delivery outcomes
Act as the primary escalation point for complex service or delivery issues
Operational Excellence
Drive service improvement through automation, innovation, and data-led insights
Proactively resolve service issues and implement long-term solutions
Champion best practices, lean methodologies, and modern technologies
Commercial & Strategic Impact
Support account growth through service expansion and capability development
Manage budgets, forecasting, and financial performance
Balance operational delivery with long-term strategic account objectives
Required Skills & Experience
Proven experience in Technical Account Management within large, complex environments
Strong background in infrastructure or managed services
Experience engaging with executive-level stakeholders as a trusted advisor
Strong financial management skills, including budgeting and forecasting
Ability to influence senior internal and external stakeholders
Track record of driving operational excellence and continuous improvement
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills
