Beagle Aircraft is a leading aerospace manufacturer, producing precision-engineered components for some of the world's leading aerospace programmes. As we continue to grow, we're looking for an experienced Key Account Manager with a manufacturing or aerospace background to join our Business Development team.

Working closely with the Head of Business Development, you'll manage strategic customer accounts, ensuring exceptional service, commercial success and long-term partnerships within a technical manufacturing environment.

The Role

This is a customer-facing commercial role that requires a strong understanding of aerospace or manufacturing processes. You'll act as the primary commercial contact for key customer accounts, working closely with Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain and Quality teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, to specification and in line with customer expectations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop strategic customer accounts, acting as the primary commercial point of contact.
  • Prepare quotations, support pricing activities, contract reviews and commercial negotiations.
  • Monitor customer orderbooks and delivery schedules, working closely with internal teams to ensure customer commitments are achieved.
  • Build strong relationships with customers while identifying opportunities to grow existing accounts.
  • Work collaboratively with Engineering, Production, Quality and Supply Chain to resolve technical and commercial issues.
  • Produce regular account performance reports, forecasts and customer updates.
  • Host customer visits and attend customer sites to support account reviews and business development activities.
  • Support business growth through outstanding customer service and proactive account management.

About You

We're looking for someone who has account management experience within a manufacturing, engineering or aerospace environment. Due to the technical nature of this role, applications from candidates without a manufacturing or aerospace background are unlikely to be considered.

You'll ideally have:

  • Essential: Previous Key Account Management, Account Management or Commercial experience within aerospace, manufacturing or precision engineering.
  • A strong understanding of engineering drawings, manufacturing processes and production environments.
  • Experience supporting quotations, pricing, contract reviews and commercial negotiations.
  • The ability to build trusted relationships with both customers and internal technical teams.
  • Excellent communication, planning and organisational skills.
  • Strong commercial awareness with the ability to identify opportunities for account growth.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
