National Account Manager £55,000-£70,000 per annum London based Talent Guardian is partnering with a well-established and fast-growing fresh and frozen foodservice supplier to find an ambitious National Account Manager to own and grow their biggest, highest-volume accounts. This is an entrepreneurial, autonomous role for a commercially sharp operator not a corporate box-ticking job. The role You'll own and grow multi-site and national business across foodservice, with a clear mandate to land bigger, higher-volume accounts think contract caterers, airlines, meal manufacturers, football clubs, cruise lines, hotels, pubs and QSR. The focus is high-end, high-value business, not commodity. - Win and grow large-volume national accounts from first meeting to full distribution
- Build head-office relationships across buyers, food development, NPD, technical and supply chain
- Lead tenders, central negotiations, listings, trials and multi-site rollouts
- Spot and shape NPD opportunities with development chefs
- Own your pipeline and lead generation using CRM and market data tools
- Stay commercially rigorous on margin, terms and forecasting
What we're looking for - 6+ years in national or key account management within foodservice supply
- Experience selling to QSR, pub, casual dining or large-volume foodservice groups (essential)
- A proven record of winning and rolling out multi-site/national listings
- Some NPD exposure and the commercial acumen to spot new opportunities
- A genuinely commercial, entrepreneurial mindset
- Protein category knowledge is desirable, but we're open to strong candidates from other categories
