| Description: | Sales Consultant Remote, UK-wide Permanent, Full-time £40,000 basic salary c. £64,000 OTE Uncapped commission Share options Gambit Search is working with an exciting, early-stage business operating at the intersection of technology and professional services. As the company continues to grow, they are looking to appoint their first dedicated salesperson, someone who will take ownership of the customer journey from the initial enquiry through to conversion. This is an opportunity to join a small, ambitious team at an important stage of its growth, with the chance to help shape how the business sells, influence the sales process and, ultimately, play a key role in building out the wider commercial function. The OpportunityThe business helps company directors navigate the process of closing their companies, supporting both solvent businesses and those facing financial difficulties. As the Sales Consultant, you will be the key point of contact for prospective customers. You will speak directly with company directors, understand their circumstances, explain the options available to them and guide them towards the appropriate solution. This is a consultative sales role, but one where you will also be expected to close. There is no handing the customer over to someone more senior, you will own the conversation from the initial call through to the customer signing. The business currently converts around 30-50% of properly followed-up qualified leads, with an initial expectation of approximately 30 qualified leads per month and around 10 completed cases. Leads are generated predominantly through paid search, with a significant proportion coming from sectors such as construction, restaurants and hospitality. The typical customer is a sole director or small business owner, often with 1-5 employees and between £10k and £100k of debt. Many are facing a situation where their available cash is running out within weeks. That means this is not a traditional transactional sales environment. Your ability to listen, understand someone's situation and communicate clearly and empathetically will be just as important as your ability to close. What You'll Be Doing
