Retail Sales Manager

Candour Talent are currently recruiting for a Retail Sales Manager to join our client based in Tredegar.

• Location: Tredegar
• Employment Type: Permanent/Full Time
• Working Hours: 35hrs/week
• Salary: 32k + Commission

The successful candidate will lead the sales and shop team and drive the growth of its retail operations.

The role would suit a driven sales professional with experience in an independent business, small branch, or similar, where you can demonstrate proven success in using your own initiative to drive change, improve team performance, and achieve sales targets.

Experience selling white goods, electrical products, or similar would also be an advantage.

The Role:

• Manage and motivate the sales and shop team to deliver excellent customer service.
• Set, monitor, and achieve sales targets.
• Manage stock ordering and maintain appropriate stock.
• Coordinate delivery schedules and ensure products are delivered safely and on time.
• Support the development and launch of new product lines.
• Benchmark products to ensure quality, competitiveness, and compliance with relevant regulations.
• Monitor sales performance, identify opportunities for growth, and improve overall commercial performance.
• Build strong relationships with customers, suppliers, and key stakeholders.
• Keeping up to date with product knowledge.

The Ideal Candidate:

• Experience in retail management.
• Awareness & understanding of FCA Regulation & Data Protection Legislation.
• Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Excel.
• Ability to work on own initiative and collaboratively.
• Leads with a customer focused attitude that sets a culture within the team.
