We are recruiting on behalf of an established business based in Leeds who are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Sales Executive to join their growing team.

About the role

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is confident, ambitious and enjoys speaking with people. You will play an important role in identifying new opportunities, building relationships with customers and helping the business achieve its growth targets.

You don't necessarily need extensive sales experience for this role. We are open to candidates from a range of backgrounds who have excellent communication skills, a positive attitude and a genuine interest in developing a career in sales.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and follow up on new business opportunities
• Speak with prospective customers by telephone, email and other channels
• Build positive relationships with new and existing customers
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable solutions
• Arrange and attend customer meetings where required
• Follow up on enquiries and sales opportunities
• Maintain accurate customer and sales information
• Work towards individual and team sales targets
• Support the wider sales team with day-to-day activities
• Provide a professional and positive customer experience
• Keep up to date with company products, services and offers

About you

We are looking for someone who is confident, personable and motivated, with the ability to build rapport quickly and communicate effectively.

Previous sales experience is beneficial but is not essential. We welcome applications from candidates with strong customer-facing, communication or commercial experience who are looking to develop their career in sales.
