Account Manager / Internal Account Manager - Global Chemical Company - £35,000 - £45,000 - Hybrid - Sutton / SM5

Prize Placements are proud to be working in partnership with a global chemical company who are looking to hire an Account Manager. The ideal candidate will need to have industry knowledge within chemicals, pharmaceuticals ideally.

The ideal candidate will have experience in developing new business, cross selling and maintaining customer relationships.

This role offers the successful candidate an excellent opportunity to utilise and develop their technical and commercial management skills, within a dynamic multinational company environment.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Managing, nurturing, and growing a diverse portfolio of existing and prospective customer relationships through regular, remote touchpoints (e.g. email, telephone, virtual conferencing) with occasional face-to-face visits

• Identify and deliver new business opportunities, ensuring a healthy pipeline is maintained, through the proactive promotion of new and existing products

• Working closely with field-based Account Managers, Product Managers and others, accessing and reciprocating support and technical expertise to respond to customers' formulation and technical questions, whilst also proposing solutions to enhance our product offering based your understanding of our customer needs

• Understanding customer needs in order to propose solutions to enhance our product offering and increase product penetration

• Following up on repeat orders to ensure both customer and supplier supply chains remain within agreed timescales
