The Opportunity

An established and growing international manufacturing and distribution business is looking to recruit a number of ambitious Telesales Executives to join its Birmingham-based sales team.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys speaking to customers, building relationships and winning business, with a 30,000 basic salary plus an uncapped commission structure offering genuine additional earning potential.

The business supplies a broad range of print, labels, packaging and related products to commercial customers across the UK, creating significant opportunities to develop both new and existing accounts.

Due to continued growth, we are particularly interested in speaking with candidates who are available to start immediately or at short notice.

What You'll Be Doing:

Working as part of a growing business to business (B2B) sales team, you will be responsible for:

• Proactively contacting potential customers and generating new business opportunities.
• Developing relationships with new and existing clients.
• Identifying customer requirements and recommending appropriate products and solutions.
• Following up enquiries, quotations and sales opportunities.
• Developing existing accounts and identifying opportunities to increase spend.
• Cross-selling and introducing customers to additional products.
• Building and maintaining your own sales pipeline.
• Working towards individual sales and revenue targets.
• Maintaining regular contact with customers by telephone and email.
• Providing a professional, responsive and reliable service throughout the sales process.

What We're Looking For:

We are looking for people who are commercially minded, confident and motivated by achieving results.

Previous telesales experience would be an advantage, particularly within B2B, telesales, account management, print, packaging, manufacturing, distribution or a similar environment.

However, attitude and potential are equally important.

You should be:

• Confident speaking with businesses and decision-makers.
• Comfortable making proactive outbound calls.
• Personable and able to build relationships quickly.
• Motivated by targets and the opportunity to earn commission.
• Organised and able to manage multiple customers and opportunities.
• Persistent without being overly aggressive in your sales approach.
• Commercially aware and naturally interested in identifying opportunities.
• Comfortable using email, CRM systems and standard Microsoft applications.
