AREA SALES MANAGER - INDUSTRIAL - MIDLANDS AREA

Market Leading specialist in the Warehouse Storage Systems, Pallet Racking and Mezzanine Flooring sector, with an impressive 50-year track record of delivering Storage Solutions to businesses across the UK.

Due to continued expansion, we are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated and hardworking Area Sales Executive to join our growing team in the Midlands (Remote Working)

BASE SALARY : c£37,000 with realistic yearly commission of £30,000+

The Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a driven sales professional who enjoys developing new business and building strong customer relationships.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Prospecting for new business opportunities
• Network among clients and contacts to find new business opportunities
• Identifying and developing potential customers
• Building and maintaining a strong network of useful business contacts
• Following up and converting incoming internet enquiries and leads
• Developing long-term relationships with new and existing customers
• Working towards sales targets and contributing to the continued growth of the business
• Undertaking surveys
• Gaining supplier costs to produce customer quotations

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

• Confident in approaching new customers and generating opportunities
• A strong communicator with excellent interpersonal skills
• Organised and persistent when following up leads
• Comfortable working independently while also being part of a team
• Experienced in a sales or business development environment

Experience within the Storage, Warehousing, Pallet Racking, Mezzanine or Industrial Sectors would be advantageous, but is not essential for the right candidate.
