Marketing - Account Manager

BMC Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for an experienced Account Manager to join their marketing team in Teesside.

As an Account Manager, you will manage a portfolio of clients, acting as the key link between clients and the internal teams. The role combines client management, marketing strategy, commercial awareness, and delivery. You will be responsible for building strong client relationships, retaining and growing accounts, developing effective marketing strategies, and ensuring campaigns and projects are delivered against agreed objectives.

Responsibilities/Requirements:

• Manage a portfolio of client accounts and act as the primary point of contact.
• Build and maintain strong, long-lasting client relationships.
• Understand clients' business goals and develop tailored marketing strategies to support their growth.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure campaigns and projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard.
• Monitor campaign performance and provide clients with regular updates, insights, and recommendations.
• Identify opportunities to retain, develop, and grow client accounts.
• Present marketing plans, performance reports, and strategic recommendations to clients.
• Ensure all activity is aligned with agreed objectives and delivers measurable value.
• Resolve client queries and challenges professionally and proactively.
• Support business growth through excellent account management and client retention.

About You
You will ideally have:

• Previous experience in an Account Manager, Marketing Account Manager, Client Services, or similar role.
• Strong understanding of marketing principles and campaign delivery.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Commercial awareness and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities.
• The ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• A positive, solutions-focused mindset and a commitment to achieving results.
