Cleaning Key Account Manager / Operations Manager

An opportunity has arisen for a Cleaning Key Account Manager / Operations Manager to join a facilities management company providing cleaning, security, maintenance and workplace support services.

As a Cleaning Key Account Manager / Operations Manager, you will oversee regional cleaning operations, manage client relationships and ensure consistent service, commercial and performance standards across multiple sites.

This full-time role offers a salary of £37,000 plus company vehicle and benefits. Based near Guildford, the role involves travelling to client sites across Surrey, including Camberley, Staines and Reigate.

You will be responsible for:

• Managing the delivery of daily and periodic cleaning services across the assigned region.
• Monitoring service performance, KPIs and contractual requirements, addressing issues where necessary.
• Coordinating site resources to ensure services are delivered effectively and within agreed budgets.
• Preparing and analysing operational and financial data for regular management reporting.
• Managing attendance and timekeeping information to support accurate payroll processing.
• Overseeing supplier relationships and ensuring agreed service standards are maintained.
• Supporting recruitment, employee relations and the resolution of HR-related matters.
• Coordinating training and development to maintain appropriate standards across the team.
• Ensuring work is carried out in line with relevant quality, environmental, health and safety requirements.

What we are looking for:

Essential:

• Experience in Business Management or an operational management position.
• Background in leading teams and developing commercial or business opportunities.
• Experience managing budgets, financial information and monthly reporting data.
• Able to develop business strategies and manage operational changes.
• Knowledge of BICSc or similar cleaning industry certification.
• Ability to generate leads and identify opportunities to increase revenue.
• Skilled in IT, including Microsoft Office and the ability to analyse and present information.
• Strong negotiation skills, including experience securing additional business or services.

Desirable:

• A degree or relevant professional qualification.
• IOSH training.

Shift:

• Monday - Friday: 07:00 - 16:00
