We're working with a fantastic digital marketing agency that's looking for an experienced Senior SEO Account Manager to join its team.

They're an established agency with a great reputation for delivering results, working with a range of brands on everything from technical SEO and content strategies to the ever-changing world of AI Search.

THE SENIOR SEO ACCOUNT MANAGER ROLE

As Senior SEO Account Manager, you'll be the go-to person for a portfolio of clients, helping them get the most out of their organic search activity.

You'll be involved in everything from putting together SEO strategies and identifying new opportunities to presenting results and helping clients understand what comes next.

There's a good balance of strategy, technical SEO and relationship management, so it's ideal for someone who enjoys getting stuck into the detail but is equally comfortable jumping on a call with a client.

Day to day, you'll be:

• Taking ownership of SEO and AI Search campaigns across a portfolio of clients
• Building SEO strategies that focus on delivering meaningful results, not just improving rankings
• Getting involved in technical audits, keyword research, content planning and site optimisation
• Working on more complex projects including website migrations and international SEO
• Keeping an eye on campaign performance and spotting opportunities to improve results
• Using tools like GA4, Ahrefs, Google Search Console and Looker Studio to track performance and share insights
• Building strong relationships with clients and becoming someone they can genuinely rely on for advice
• Working alongside other digital specialists to make sure campaigns are working together
• Supporting pitches and identifying opportunities to grow existing client accounts
• Helping junior members of the team develop their skills and confidence

You'll also be encouraged to bring your own ideas to the table. SEO is constantly changing, particularly with AI Search becoming a bigger part of the conversation, so they're looking for someone who enjoys keeping up with the industry and trying new approaches.

SENIOR SEO ACCOUNT MANAGER ESSENTIAL SKILLS

We're looking for someone who's already built up a solid background in SEO and is ready to take the next step in their career.

Ideally, you'll have:

• 5+ years of experience working in SEO, ideally within an agency
• Strong knowledge of technical SEO, on-page and off-page optimisation
• Experience building and managing SEO strategies for multiple clients
• Confidence using tools like Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog, GA4 and Google Search Console
• A good understanding of technical areas including crawlability, JavaScript SEO, schema and site performance
• Experience working on website migrations, international SEO or other complex SEO projects
• An interest in AI Search and how organic search is continuing to evolve
• Great communication skills and the confidence to build relationships with clients
• Some experience mentoring or supporting junior team members
• A commercial mindset and an understanding of how SEO can help businesses grow
