Permanent, full-time position based in Shrewsbury.
Salary
£35,000 - £60,000 OTE, depending on experience and performance + uncapped commission + additional benefits
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced automotive sales professional to join a successful dealership representing a range of new and used vehicles.
Key Responsibilities
Manage customer enquiries from initial contact through to vehicle handover
Sell both new and used vehicles
Build strong relationships with customers and understand their requirements
Present vehicles confidently and explain key features and benefits
Arrange and conduct test drives
Follow up telephone, email and online enquiries
Negotiate deals and convert enquiries into sales
Work towards agreed individual and dealership sales targets
Maintain accurate customer and sales records
Deliver a high standard of customer service throughout the sales process
Work closely with the wider dealership team to ensure a smooth customer journey
Skills & Experience
Minimum 1 year of previous car sales experience required
Strong track record within automotive sales
Confident dealing with customers face-to-face, over the phone and by email
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Commercially minded and motivated by earning potential
Strong organisation and follow-up skills
Comfortable working as part of an established sales team
Good general computer skills
Full UK driving licence required
