| Description: | Business Development Executive Milton Keynes £28,000 £32,000 basic, depending on experience, plus quarterly bonuses OTE: £35,000 £42,000 I m working with a technology business in Milton Keynes that s looking for someone to join its business development team. This role would suit someone who enjoys building relationships, has a commercial mindset and wants to develop their career. You might already have experience in sales or account management, or you could be working in a customer-facing role and looking for the next step. You ll work closely with the Head of Business Development, getting involved in everything from looking after customer relationships to spotting new opportunities and helping grow the business. There s plenty to learn, and as you gain experience, you ll have the chance to manage your own accounts and work towards a Business Development Manager position. What will you be doing?
You don t need to have done this exact job before, but some experience in sales, account management or a customer-focused role would be useful. You ll need to be comfortable speaking to people, organised and happy to get stuck in. A genuine interest in technology would be a bonus, particularly IT hardware or software, but there s support available to help you learn the products and the market. Good IT skills are important, and experience with a CRM system would be helpful. You ll also need a full UK driving licence. What s on offer?
