Can you travel to customer/prospects sites to develop relationships? Then get in touch! Kingston Barnes is recruiting for an Area Sales Manager to operate in the North of England. Our client is a market leading manufacturer, and they are looking for an experienced salesperson with strong technical knowledge to develop new opportunities and bolster existing customer relationships. The Role: - Support existing customers and develop new sales opportunities for high-pressure industrial solutions, water jetting products, and accessories.
- Focus on winning profitable orders and growing market share in sectors like petrochemical, nuclear, construction, and energy transition.
- Manage and maintain regular contact with a large customer base, promoting new product offerings to maximise sales.
- Research potential customers, introduce them to the product range, and explore new sales opportunities.
- Organize and conduct product trials and demonstrations (training provided).
- Assist internal sales with preparing quotes and equipment costings when needed.
- Liaise with customers during and after order processing.
- Keep customer and sales records up-to-date using CRM software.
- Report regularly on sales activities and future plans.
- Support the sales team in preparing budgets, forecasts, and strategies.
- Actively promote company sales and marketing efforts.
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market opportunities, and share insights with the team.
- Carry out any other reasonable tasks requested by senior management.
The Candidate: - Knowledge of high-pressure pumps or high-pressure jetting
- Previous capital equipment sales experience
- Commercially competent
- Great negotiation skills
- Full, clean driving licence
