Salary - 60,000 per annum plus bonuses and additional benefits
My client are a nationwide travel business providing coach and luxury tavel pacakges for a number of different Stakeholders and are looking at expanding their sales team with a Regional Sales Manager.
Role Overview:
As a dynamic and results-driven manager you will lead and develop sales operations across the London and Southeast region. This role is critical in delivering commercial growth, maintaining high client service standards and developing a proactive, target-focused sales culture.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Leadership: Lead, motivate and manage a regional sales team to exceed revenue and conversion targets across all businesses
Performance Monitoring: Oversee and analyse sales KPIs including conversion rates, private hire pipeline progression, and response times to quotations
Sales Process Compliance: Ensure full adherence to group sales processes, including accurate quotation capture and follow-up
Business Development: Proactively identify and pursue new lines of business to grow market share across local region
Team Development: Coach and nurture the sales team to enhance capabilities and performance in a target-driven environment
Client Management: Act as the primary escalation point for key accounts and high-value clients, ensuring exceptional service delivery
Tender Management: Lead or support the renewal of existing tenders and new contract bids
Reporting & Strategy: Contribute to monthly and quarterly reporting, providing insights and updates for Board-level reporting
Cross-Regional Collaboration: Work closely with other CTG operators to share best practices and align commercial strategies.
Marketing Support: Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and deliver regional campaigns and promotional initiatives
Operational Alignment: Partner with regional operations teams to improve communication, understand fleet availability, and streamline service delivery
The successful candidate will need:
Proven experience in a commercial, sales leadership or business development role within the transport, travel or related service sector.
Strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
Excellent analytical, reporting and forecasting skills.
Confident communicator with strong client-facing and negotiation skills.
Knowledge of tendering processes and public/private sector contracting is desirable.
Comfortable managing competing priorities.
