To identify, secure and grow new business opportunities for the business. The New Sales Consultant will be responsible for identifying potential client opportunities and closely engaging to sell services and close deals resulting in increasing sales and a steady growth of our client base.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
To create, guide and direct new business development opportunities aligning to current business strategy
Achieve quarterly and annual sales quotas by acquiring new accounts.
Identify, articulate and execute new opportunities and business propositions
Prepare and present detailed business cases to the New Sales Director
Develop and provide data on markets, customer and competitor activity
Work alongside our junior team members to ensure they have all the support, advice, tools and training to hit their targets
To work on developing sustainable candidate databases for designated clients to ensure long term ability to fulfil requirements
Meet with clients in a sales environment to drive business sales and knowledge
Demonstrate advanced knowledge of industry, clients and roles
Makes relevant sales appointments with clients
Team with other employees to make sure clients job requirements can be fulfilled
Generate new leads
Follow up with any clients to make sure that they are satisfied with candidates and services
Continuously find new target markets and penetrate them to drive sales
Work with the sales director and marketing to develop new sales strategies
Continuously discover target markets and advantages of other companies
Experience/Qualifications
Strong Sales negotiation and sales closing skills
Suitable experience in generating brand new business sales opportunities in IT Sales
Demonstrable success in new business sales; you should have a proven track record of delivering growth within a complex client portfolio
The ability to be innovative and creative where you can challenge conventional thinking and push the boundaries of established practise
(Desirable) Educated to Degree standard
Excellent computer skills including Word / Excel / PowerPoint
History of achieving personal and divisional sales targets
Proven experience of face-to-face client engagement
