Komatsu UK is seeking a proactive and commercially minded Account Manager to join its Sales Administration team. This is an excellent opportunity to play a key role in managing relationships across Komatsu's European dealer and distributor network, ensuring exceptional customer service whilst supporting sales performance, order fulfilment and business growth.

The Account Manager will act as a key point of contact for distributors and customers, coordinating orders, managing commercial enquiries and maintaining strong working relationships with both internal departments and external stakeholders. This position offers a blend of customer relationship management, sales support, reporting and operational coordination within a global manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop relationships with distributors and customers across designated territories.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for customer enquiries, ensuring excellent levels of service and communication.
  • Coordinate sales orders, pricing requests, shipments and account-related activities.
  • Monitor customer requirements and proactively support business opportunities.
  • Produce, analyse and validate sales reports using Microsoft Excel and business systems.
  • Work closely with internal departments including Production, Logistics, Finance and Aftermarket functions.
  • Support the development of reporting tools, dashboards and process improvements.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement and digitalisation initiatives across the business.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an Account Manager, Sales Co-ordinator, Sales Administrator, Customer Service or Commercial Support role.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with a customer-focused approach.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Competent in Microsoft Excel and business systems.
  • Experience of ERP systems would be advantageous.
  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach with a continuous improvement mindset.
