Macildowie are working with a client based in Nottingham to recruit a Sales Executive. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious sales professional looking to join an established business within the print and manufacturing sector, with a clear progression pathway into a Sales Manager role based on performance.

This role combines new business development with the management of an existing customer portfolio, making it ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships while driving commercial growth. As you demonstrate success, you'll be given the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility, with the aim of progressing into a Sales Manager position and leading the sales function.

As a Sales Executive, you'll play a key role in driving the company's continued growth by identifying new opportunities while developing strong relationships with existing customers.

Key responsibilities include:

• Identifying and securing new business opportunities across a range of industries.
• Managing and developing an existing portfolio of customers.
• Building long-term relationships with clients and understanding their business needs.
• Presenting and promoting the company's products and services.
• Working towards and exceeding sales targets.
• Providing regular feedback on customer requirements, market trends and new product opportunities.
• Working closely with internal teams to deliver an outstanding customer experience.
• Developing the commercial and leadership skills required to progress into a Sales Manager role.

We're looking for someone who is motivated, commercially driven and eager to develop their career.

You'll ideally have:

• Previous experience in B2B Sales, Business Development or Account Management.
• A proven ability to generate new business whilst maintaining existing client relationships.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• A proactive, self-motivated approach with the confidence to work independently.
• A desire to progress into a management role as your performance develops.
• Experience within the print industry would be advantageous, particularly within labelling, adhesive products or fabric printing, although candidates from similar manufacturing or technical sales backgrounds are also encouraged to apply.
