Sales Manager / Sales Director - Media & Events
Location: Sevenoaks
Salary: up to £55k (DOE)+ uncapped commission

Lloyd Recruitment Services are working with an established and growing business-to-business media company with a strong portfolio of publications, digital platforms, conferences, and events.

We are looking for an ambitious Sales Manager or Sales Director to take responsibility for commercial growth across two established portfolios, with the opportunity to make a significant impact on revenue, client relationships, and the wider sales strategy.

You will be selling a range of commercial solutions, including print advertising, digital advertising, sponsorship, conference, and event opportunities, working with businesses to create packages that deliver genuine value.

The Sales Manager Role

You will be responsible for developing new business while maximising revenue from existing clients across both portfolios.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and executing sales strategies across two media portfolios.
• Selling print, digital, sponsorship, conference, and event opportunities.
• Identifying and winning new business through proactive prospecting and relationship building.
• Growing existing client accounts by introducing additional products and services.
• Building strong relationships with senior decision-makers and commercial contacts.
• Managing the full sales process from initial contact through to closing.
• Working closely with editorial, events, and marketing teams to develop compelling commercial propositions.
• Monitoring sales performance against revenue and activity targets.
• Identifying new commercial opportunities and markets for growth.
• Taking a hands-on approach to sales while contributing to the wider commercial strategy.

About You:

We are looking for a commercially minded sales professional who is confident selling multiple products and solutions rather than a single service.

You may currently be working within:

• Business-to-business media or publishing
• Magazine or digital advertising
• Conferences and events
• Sponsorship
• Exhibition sales
• Delegate sales
• Business information
• Advertising or media partnerships

You will ideally have a proven track record of winning new business, growing accounts and consistently delivering against revenue targets.

We are particularly interested in people who are commercially hungry, confident speaking to senior decision-makers and enjoy the challenge of opening new accounts.

You do not necessarily need to have held a sales director title. We would consider a strong Sales Manager or senior salesperson who is ready to take the next step and have greater responsibility for commercial performance.
