Cruise Sales Executive

My client are looking for an enthusiastic and commercially driven Cruise Sales Executive to join a growing specialist travel business. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced travel sales professional to work from home, helping customers create and book exceptional cruise holidays tailored specifically to their needs.

The Role

As a Cruise Sales Executive, you'll be responsible for handling customer enquiries and converting leads into confirmed cruise bookings.

Using your strong destination knowledge, cruise expertise and experience in dynamic packaging, you'll build the perfect holiday for each customer - combining cruise itineraries with flights, hotels, transfers and other travel arrangements where required.

You'll be confident working towards ambitious sales targets while ensuring every customer receives a highly personalised and professional service.

What You'll Be Doing

• Build strong relationships with customers and quickly understand their holiday requirements through effective questioning.
• Research and compare options across multiple suppliers and booking systems to find the perfect holiday.
• Create bespoke cruise packages tailored to individual customer needs and budgets.
• Confidently overcome objections and use your sales skills to convert enquiries into bookings.
• Take ownership of the customer journey from initial enquiry through to confirmed booking.
• Process customer payments accurately and securely.
• Use a variety of supplier websites, booking platforms and travel systems to confirm different elements of a holiday.
• Accurately enter and maintain booking information within internal systems.
• Consistently achieve and exceed individual sales targets.
• Maintain exceptional attention to detail throughout the booking process.
• Deliver outstanding customer service that encourages repeat and referral business.

About You

My client is looking for someone who is sales-focused, commercially minded and genuinely passionate about travel.

You'll ideally have previous experience within a travel agency, travel call centre or similar sales environment, with a proven ability to work towards - and exceed - targets.

You'll be:

• Highly target-driven and motivated by achieving results.
• Confident, enthusiastic and commercially focused.
• An excellent communicator who can quickly build rapport with customers.
• Passionate about travel, with strong worldwide destination knowledge.
• Experienced in selling cruise, luxury European or worldwide holidays.
• Comfortable creating dynamic packages and bespoke itineraries.
• Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
• Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• A confident user of technology, booking systems and supplier websites.
• A quick learner who can adapt to new products, systems and processes.
• Proactive, positive and able to work independently in a homebased environment.

Experience & Knowledge

Previous experience within a travel agency or travel sales environment is highly desirable, together with:

• A proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
• Experience delivering exceptional customer service.
• Experience packaging multiple travel products into bespoke holidays.
• Strong knowledge of worldwide destinations.
• Experience using Global Distribution Systems (GDS).
• Confidence working across multiple supplier websites and booking platforms.
• Strong computer literacy and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
