Sales Representative - No Sales Experience Needed!

Salary: 39,600 per annum + 20% commission
Location: Field-based / UK
Hours: Full-time
Contract: Initially 12 weeks temporary, with the opportunity to become permanent
Driving: Full UK driving licence, maximum 3 points. You must be aged 25 or over for vehicle insurance purposes.

Are you the kind of person who can strike up a conversation with anyone?

We're looking for friendly, confident people to get out on the road, meet independent retailers and turn introductions into sales.

Never worked in sales before? That's absolutely fine. You'll need enthusiasm, confidence and the willingness to give it a go.

You'll be joining an established business that is the sole UK distributor of its product, giving you something different to introduce to customers.

What does a typical day look like?

You'll drive a van stocked with products, visiting 15-20 convenience stores and independent shops each day.

Walk in, introduce yourself, get to know the owner and show them what's available. When they're ready to buy, the stock is right outside, ready to sell and supply there and then.

You'll be:

• Meeting shop owners and building your own customer base.
• Introducing products and securing sales face-to-face.
• Spotting opportunities to sell more and encourage repeat orders.
• Taking payments and recording sales using company procedures.
• Keeping your van stock organised and checking stock levels.
• Planning your route and making every visit count.
• Working towards sales targets and earning commission.

Some visits will end in a sale. Some won't. You'll need to keep smiling, stay motivated and be ready for the next conversation.

You don't need a sales CV packed with experience. We're looking for someone who:

• Enjoys meeting people and starting conversations.
• Has plenty of personality and a positive attitude.
• Is motivated by targets and the opportunity to earn commission.
• Can work independently and organise their day.
• Is reliable, professional and comfortable handling stock.
• Can take a "no thanks" without letting it spoil their day.
