| Description: | Job Role: Business Development Manager Location: Lincoln Salary: 30 - 35k plus commission, OTE of 60k A joinery manufacturing business in Lincoln is looking for a Business Development Manager with a proven track record and an active network of industry contacts. This is a permanent, in-person role suited to someone who can hit the ground running and bring projects in from day one. The role - Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets - Generate new project opportunities through an existing network of contractors, fit-out companies, developers, architects, interior designers and private clients - Pass qualified opportunities to the in-house estimating team for pricing - Present quotations to clients, negotiate and close deals - Maintain a consistent pipeline of new opportunities - Represent the business at client meetings, site visits and industry events What you'll need - Proven business development or sales experience within joinery, fit-out, interiors, kitchens, furniture or a closely related sector - An established network of industry contacts you can actively convert into work - A track record of hitting and exceeding sales targets - A strong closing record with the ability to get deals agreed and over the line - Confidence using technology; experience with or a willingness to use AI tools is a strong advantage - Full UK driving licence What you'll get - Competitive basic salary plus uncapped commission - Support from an in-house estimator, so your time is focused on winning work rather than pricing it - On target earnings of 60k | |
