Description:
XCL Group are seeking an experienced and proactive Account Manager to join our growing client who product exquisite packaging and carton-based products. The ideal candidate will bring a strong understanding of carton manufacturing processes, excellent customer service skills, and experience working with Tharsterns MIS would be a great advantage. This role involves managing customer accounts from order placement through to artwork approval and final delivery, ensuring a smooth, accurate, and high-quality service.
Job Responsibilities
Serve as the main point of contact for allocated customer accounts.
Process customer orders accurately using Tharstens MIS (or similar MIS software).
Liaise closely with external sales teams, production, design, and customers to ensure all project requirements are met.
Manage artwork approvals, ensuring files are correctly supplied, reviewed, and progressed into production.
Monitor project timelines and proactively communicate updates to customers and internal stakeholders.
Resolve any issues or queries relating to specifications, lead times, artwork, or production.
Prepare job bags, specifications, and supporting documentation for production.
Maintain excellent product knowledge to provide accurate advice and support.
Support continuous improvement initiatives across customer service and workflow processes.
Job Requirements
Cartons industry experience is essential.
Experience using Tharstens MIS (highly desirable).
Understanding of litho print processes and packaging artwork requirements.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple jobs simultaneously.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to build strong internal and external relationships.
Customer-focused, proactive, and solutions-driven attitude.
Hours:
4 DAY WORKING WEEK
Tuesday Friday 8:30am 6pm
