The Role As a Parts Sales Executive, you'll play a key role in delivering excellent customer service while achieving sales targets and supporting the day-to-day operation of the Trade Parts Centre. Your responsibilities will include: - Achieving sales KPIs and revenue targets by accurately identifying customer requirements and recommending the correct parts.
- Using effective questioning techniques to diagnose customer needs while promoting relevant offers and upselling where appropriate.
- Delivering outstanding customer service via telephone and face-to-face, managing enquiries, orders, complaints, and credit queries professionally.
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships through regular contact and exceptional service.
- Developing and maintaining a strong understanding of the parts range, promotions, and product benefits to confidently overcome objections and maximise sales opportunities.
- Accurately processing orders using manufacturer systems, including VIN and parts lookup tools, while maintaining customer records and ensuring compliance with data protection standards.
- Supporting the wider operation by receiving and allocating stock, assisting with stock checks, sourcing parts, reporting damages, and maintaining displays to manufacturer standards.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues, suppliers, and manufacturers to support business objectives and continuously improve service levels.
- Maintaining a professional appearance, organised workspace, and high standards of compliance and customer care.
About You We're looking on behalf of our client for someone who enjoys building relationships, thrives in a busy environment, and is passionate about delivering excellent customer service. Ideally, you'll have: - Experience in automotive parts, distribution, telesales, or another customer-facing sales environment.
- Motor industry experience (preferred but not essential).
- Excellent communication skills with a professional telephone manner.
- Good IT skills and confidence using computer-based systems.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- The ability to work efficiently to deadlines while maintaining high levels of customer service.
- A full UK driving licence.
