Sponsorship Sales Manager - New European Launch Event

Join a B2B Events & Media Organisation

Central London Office + Travel

Salary: Up to £45,000 + Commission + Benefits

Join a leading international media and events business with almost three decades of experience serving global B2B audiences. Our client connects a community of over 250,000 senior executives through its news platform and an award-winning portfolio of large-scale conferences, trade exhibitions, and awards programmes.

This Sponsorship Sales Manager position will focus on sponsorship sales for a new European launch event. You'll join a commercially driven team, with the opportunity to build relationships with senior decision-makers across a range of industries.

This is an ideal next step in B2B events for an experienced sales professional who is ambitious, commercially minded, and genuinely excited about building a long-term career in the events industry. Our client invests in and develops the right person, not simply ready-made experience.

Day to day you will:

  • Sell sponsorship packages to senior stakeholders and C-level contacts
  • Develop consultative, needs-based proposals tailored to each prospect
  • Build and manage your own pipeline of new business, alongside warm leads from an established database
  • Identify new revenue opportunities and sponsorship formats to grow income across the events portfolio
  • Develop strong sector knowledge as you build out this new launch event
  • Build your professional profile on LinkedIn as part of a wider commercial strategy

About You

Our client is looking for an early-career individual who brings energy, commercial instinct, and a genuine desire to learn and grow within one organisation.

You will ideally have:

  • Up to two years of professional experience in recruitment, commercial sales, or a similar environment
  • A degree, or the ability to demonstrate equivalent potential and drive
  • A natural ability to build relationships and communicate with confidence
  • Strong research and prospecting skills, with a genuine enjoyment of finding and pursuing new opportunities
  • A target-driven mindset with good pipeline discipline
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A genuine interest in business and how industries evolve
  • Ambition to build a long-term career, not just fill a role

What's on Offer

  • A role with a well-established, internationally recognised events and media brand
  • Genuine investment in your development, with clear progression for strong performers
  • Cross-functional exposure to production, marketing, delegate sales, and client services
  • An entrepreneurial, supportive culture that values initiative
  • International career opportunities
  • Great company benefits

If you think this Sponsorship Sales role could be the next step in your career and want to know more, we'd love to hear from you.
