Description: We are recruiting a Business Development Manager for our established car dealer group in Crawley, West Sussex. This is an excellent Business Development Manager opportunity for an experienced B2B automotive, corporate, fleet sales or commercial account management professional to develop valuable customer relationships and grow revenue across Sussex and beyond.

As a Business Development Manager, you will manage existing commercial accounts while identifying and securing new business opportunities with fleet operators, corporate clients and local businesses. Your success will be supported by a competitive package and a professional working environment.

Benefits:
  • Basic salary of 36,400
  • Uncapped OTE of 65,000
  • Company car provided
  • Monday-to-Friday working pattern covering 08:00 to 18:00 opening hours

Duties:
  • Generate, develop and manage a strong pipeline of B2B, corporate and fleet sales opportunities
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with existing commercial customers
  • Identify new business opportunities across fleet operators, corporate accounts and local businesses
  • Conduct customer needs analysis and present tailored vehicle and fleet solutions
  • Negotiate commercial agreements to achieve positive outcomes for customers and the business
  • Consistently achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets
  • Work closely with sales and aftersales colleagues to deliver an excellent customer experience
  • Maintain accurate CRM records and provide regular pipeline and performance reports
  • Represent the business professionally at client meetings, events and networking opportunities
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in B2B automotive sales, corporate sales, fleet sales, leasing sales, business development or commercial account management
  • Strong commercial awareness and understanding of customer needs and sales processes
  • Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills
  • A confident, professional and target-focused approach
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a busy sales pipeline
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Previous experience as a Business Development Manager is advantageous, although relevant B2B sales experience will be considered
